 Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

  • Afternoon: Visit the National Memorial Chorten and the Buddha Dordenma statue.

 Thimphu Sightseeing

  • Morning: Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, and the National Library.
  • Afternoon: Explore the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Arts and Crafts School) and the Folk Heritage Museum.
  • Evening: Visit Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot).

Thimphu – Paro

  • Morning: Drive to Paro (1.5 hours). Check into your hotel and have lunch.
  • Afternoon: Visit Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan).
  • Evening: Explore Paro town and local shops.
  • Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

  Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

  • Afternoon: Return to Paro for lunch and relax at the hotel.
